Try looking up something called costochondritis it seems to be what we're suffering from mine started about a year or so I thought I was having a heart attack then I thought it was heartburn all very scary but at the end after seeing al types of doctors the only explanation that makes sense is costochondritis. Good luck to all and hope you find a remedy to ease your pain advil works for me for about a week or so

100% Trigger points! I've had this problem for years. It got so bad I couldn't do dips anymore. It's not an over night fix but it is the cure. Google it YouTube it, there's a lot of information on trigger points.

Yes. I have a pulling sensation in the right side of my neck that starts at the occipital and goes down the right side of my spine until just above my bra band. I started doing some yoga-type guided neck stretches which help my neck but since I have been doing that the popping that occurs mostly on the right side of my sternum is more frequent.

I know what you need to do; get a new boyfriend. No offense but this one sounds like a jerk to me. That's not a way to treat a woman, especially one who's worried about you...

I've been suffering with this since 2010 when I enlisted as an infantryman in the US army. With the heavy rucks and the punches to the chest for promotions as someone said before I have never tied all this together. Severe scapular pain( right under the L shoulder blade) runs up the spine to the left side of my neck. My sternum pops everyday. Just by any small movements. The army ended up doing L should surgery for a torn labrum and I suffer with even more pain today. I also have had a scope and they discovered a hihatal hernia but it wasn't a huge concern for them considering I was bleeding internally at the time. I want my life back. People think I'm f*****g nuts. Haha

Sounds kind of like your boyfriend is a jerk if "Mind your own business" is his response.
