Stomach and Intestinal Problems, can't figure out whats wrong, can really use help

sounds like toxic shock syndrom. Have you been checked for this? i am in the same boat as you i have pain in the lower right rib quadrent always feel sick in my stomach i carry a bottle of emetrol with me everywhere i go. I am now going to my 5th gastro doctor I hope we can determine whats wrong i am tired of being sick all of the time and nobody out there that can tell me why. I want my life back.

hello there! your description sounds the closest to my symptoms. I too have been able to eat vey little. I have not had the vomiting but the nausea and other symptoms match. My pain has been on the lower right and side of the belly button. Bowel movements always different. I have found some relief taking probiotic pills before meals. I do not and will not take any prescription medications as I believe these will cause more harm than help. The pain you feel going from lower left back and side might be a kidney issue. I also fee this and have passed many kidney stones and this is what you describe. You may have a kidney infection. Have you done urine test. My urine test show blood and excess protein so I have reduced and eliminated almost all animal protein. Hope this helps. Keep me informed.

Hi,  My husband has been having GI issues since Feb 2013...He has had colonoscopies, CT Scans, pill camera, endoscopy,  tested for celiac( negative), Chrons( that one is on the table still- tried Pentasa but that med gave him Kidney pain( he had acute renal failure April 2012- kidney's are ok - although one kidney is working at %70. I also need to mention that he has had a high  bloodcell  count since renal failure... saw oncologist for that also.No idea why it is so high... still has the high count. DR suspecting an infection but he had been on numerous antibiotics.....

He has excruciating pain with his bowel movements- he is afraid of eating because he will eventually need to go to the bathroom.

When he walks, the pain get worse.

Has been to TWO GI doctors- at his last appt this past Thursday- the Dr told him that he needed to refer him to an Infectious Specialist. Dr speak for "I don't know what is wrong with you. "

We have an appointment for a THIRD opinion at a ColoRectal surgeon next week.

Any ideas?

did you ever find out what the problem was in California your symptoms are very simular

been dealing with a similar situation. i go through phases where it all comes on at once, and can last from days to weeks. 2-5 stools a day, terrible indigestion, gas, frequent urination, numbness is limbs, etc. started feb 2013, tons of blood a d stool tests. nothing so far. seems to be kind of fading out though. symptoms feel less severe. been on numerous antibiotics, probiotics, 15 years vegetarian. eat mostly organic.

Been having the same issues but with major weight lose and vomiting it'll stop for a month or less and come back even worse in the past 3 months I went from 170 to 120 I'm bloated and feels like I have menstral like cramps all the time it started a couple months ago before I turned 18 doctors can't find anything wrong and it's freaking me out

Im 15 and i have been having this issue for almost a year since feb of 2013. i have been feeling bloated after drinking just small amounts, i have burning or scraping pain after everything i eat, i have continuos weight loss which is bad bc i am already skinny and could get worse problems from loosing so much weight. i have had two endoscopes, a HYDA scan, an ultra sound, and the GI has came back with all positive results and say there is no need to run anymore tests due to what they have seen and everything shows completley normal. the problem is, i dont feel completely normal at all. I am a teenager wanting to enjoy life and play sports and have actual fun...but my everyday stomach aches are holding me back from my life and i dont know what to do anymore! i have been on about !2 or 15 different medications which havent worked and i am sick of taking pills everyday! my normal weight is 123 and i have dropped to 96 this past summer and tried my best to regain and i am now 112! i hate ensure and boost drinks so i eat high calorie foods when i can eat. i=but i need help fast before things fall apart.. im a young person who suffers from daily aches and i cannot take it! help would be appreciated and ANY suggestions PLEASE! i want to live again someday and be able to say i made it past this issue! my friends miss me and my family misses the old me.. so please anything that could help Please! ;(

I don't think anybody knows I have been going through this for years, I eat which is not much because my stomach full. However, what I eat comes back all test come back negative. I lose weight, gain weight, lose weight, gain weight so and on. Dr.'s can't figure out what's going on with me. I had surgery in 2005 for diver. (total reconstruction of lower intestions) sorry spelling off migraines. I don't know what to tell you, I do know what you are going through.

Dude seroiusly think its ur Thyroid causing all these problems go to an ENDOCRINOLOGIST trust me You need an ultrasound of ur neck and bloodwork done.... sorry to say it maybe thyroid Cancer or just a mass. But u need to know now don t suffer any longer you will be glad you did..

saw my last post was 7 months ago.

 

well, 7 months later, i feel like i am nearly over it. what is left is minor and no longer disrupts my every day life. i still take Align probiotics, drink apple cider vinager, and cut back on spicy foods big time. i still think mine was from a bug or virus or something since my wife had it too, at the same time.

 

i did have stomach issues about 17 years ago, but that went away a long time ago. not sure if this was related. my weight is back up, my energy has returned, i feel better over all. 

a few lingering symptoms are - a cramp in my lower abdomen here and there, usually if i go #2 it goes away. sometimes urinating feels a bit crampy too. the extreme frequent urination ceased a long time ago. going #2 3-5 times a day has let up as well. back to a normal 1-2 a day at most.

i am vegetarian, eat organic, eat a lot of vegan foods, veggies, whole grains, drink apple cider vinegar, drink kombucha, drink tea and coffee, stay active.

Get the butterfly checked (THYROID) with ultrasound These stupid doctors never check the most obvious there' s so much of this today my daughter suffered for Yrs the thyroid is the culprit they have taken all the IODINE out of our food and it needs iodine to function therefore w all have the thyroid problem which they over look and wooops there it IS. you will either have a mass on ur thyroid which is causing it to malfunction or you have the thyroid Cancer its up to you to tell the doctor demand it be checked by blood and Ultrasound You will be happy you did..

most blood tests will show info on the thyroid 

Thyroid problem go to see Endocrinologist You will be glad you did, sick all the time bad bowel move,gas, tired trust me on this you need blood n Ultrasound check of the butterfly do it you will be very glad u did!!!
