I'm really hoping someone can help me.

I have no idea if I should be running to a doctor or if I should just forget about them.

About two weeks ago I discovered a small line of little white bumps on the inner portion of my right labia minora and they kind of looked and felt like pimples with white caps on them. So I pulled off the capsules like I would have any other blackhead on my body - two of them bleed for a second but that was it.

Now I have two separate lines of the same thing on either side of my perineum just down from my vulva. The other ones have sort of gone. The skin where they were in still slightly raised and slightly white but they are not now, nor ever did cause me any discomfort or pain. The center of the lumps when I removed them where very hard and seed like, not uncommon to other blackheads as I understand?

I really want them to go away, but I'm really terrified its some kind of incurable STI . I do shave the areas mentioned and I guess my real question is does it sound more like and STI or some kind of weird reaction to shaving ?

I have the exact same thing and its freaking me out. I just had my annual with my gynocologist and he gave me a clean bill of health but I still worry. My pap test was normal. The bumps don't hurt or itch but they feel and look weird. I shave that region regularly and I did not notice them until I shaved that area completely the first time. Hope someone can help me!

I just went to a health Center today and it should be checked to see if it's HPV. I had the same thing and thought it was from razor burn, but after months of it not going away I finally sought out help. They had to freeze them off, and they were little white bumps in a line and there was about 3 of them. They told me it was either Molluscum Contagiosum or genital warts. You should get it checked out ASAP and use protection, or else your sexual partner will contract them too (but in their urethra!) I wish the best of luck.

If her pap came up clean and normal than it is NOT HPV most likely just razor burn. You should be fine as along as you have been tested for everything and have been coming up clean and normal it is most likely just a genital hair issue.

I had a straight line of white bumps there, too. They started out really small and barely noticeable. Then seemingly overnight some of them got inflamed and turned into flesh-colored bumps that burned and itched. My gyn said she thought they might be warts from HPV. She cut them out and it turned out they were just inflamed polyps - totally benign growths. I had another flare up and got more cut out. Now the other side looks like it's about to get inflamed. So annoying. If they don't bother you and they are, in fact polyps, they're probably benign, and you shouldn't worry about it. I would see if you can get tested to make sure they're not HPV related. My doctor told me it just looked like normal skin to her - which may be what your doctor is thinking. If you had a clean pap, I would think you're ok. I'm not a doctor - so don't take anything I say as medical advice. That was just my experience.
