Hello All, I am having some strange hypo episodes. It seems like about 3 to 4 hours after I've eaten I get a very strange pulsating sensation in my ears and head. This only happens when I raise my arms upwards and give a good stretch. This also occurs when I get up out of a chair. This makes me feel very faint. I feel like I'm going to pass out. The loud pulsating in my ears makes me not able to hear very well. Has anyone else had these strange symptoms. I'm thinking it has something to do with low blood sugar. Does any one have any advice/thoughts. It would really be appreciated.

Hello, That is interesting. I have a similar problem. Actually, I can't lift my arms over my head because it causes my blood pressure to go up and from that I get bad pains in my chest. I have high blood pressure to begin with. When I get up out of a chair I have to move slowly. That's true even when I get out of bed because I could pass out. You don't get enough blood to the brain so there isn't enough oxygen to keep it working. I don't know if it has anything to do with low blood sugar but you might have your blood pressure checked. In the meantime, I suggest you don't raise your arms over your head because one of these times you may just pass out and hurt yourself. You know, it seems like you have a long time between meals. You might try eating every 3 hours to keep your blood sugar levels more stable. I used to have 4 to 5 hours sometimes 6 hours between meals and I had a problem controlling my blood sugar. My diabetes manager suggested that I eat every 3 hours to see if that helped to stabilize my sugar levels. Sure enough it did. I wish the best of luck to you.
