It's your uterian liner. Often because use of birth control that uses progesterone, can become decidualized .When an area of decidua is shed, it is called a decidual cast because it frequently comes out in the shape of the uterine cavity....or just giant as chunks or sometimes looks like a sack. It scared me first time it happened.

It is not "very false" that birth control pills/IUDs/etc. are abortifacient drugs, meaning they can cause abortions. If it was merely "hypothesized," then why is it written in the prescription paperwork for these items that they cause the uterine lining to thin so fertilized egg implantation can't take place? Like you, I was convinced the pill wouldn't cause abortions, but then I did research for a friend was getting married and didn't want to accidentally abort any future babies. I read multiple package inserts for various birth control methods and found that if they fail to prevent a pregnancy, then as backup these methods prevent the fertilized egg from being nourished and growing. It is "birth" control, not "pregnancy" control. I was shocked, but the truth is the truth.

this just happened to me today. it was like a white tissue thing and it had, what looked like, uterus lining with it.

I had the same experience but 14 years earlier had a tubal. Mine was not mucus. Mine was a fleshy colored mass of actual tissue. Weirdest thing I'd ever experienced.

Mine appears to be chunks of very very large amounts of tissue there isn't a smell to it, and its a very dark red in color. My cramping is minimal this period and I'm having to change my tampon every 5-15 minutes. How long do u suppose this will last? Im not on any kind of birth control nor am I sexually active at the moment ( haven't been for about 6 months or so) i am 35 years of age, and fl r the past 10 years my periods have been irregular sometimes I can go months without having a period. Should i be concerned? The shedding of the uterus makes sense to me, especially considering sometimes I go so long between my cycles. Imbopen to suggestion and or advice????

It does prevent the implantation of a fertilized egg though, which many consider to be abortaeficient.

My OBGYNs have all told me (4 different ones) that if I have ethical issues with the potentially abortaeficient effects of the pill then they would not recommend the pill for me as it prevents the implantation of a fertilized egg and is considered to be abortive (ending a pregnancy).

Try a more natural approach with a midwife. they typically spend more time with you discussing your concerns anyway.

It sounds like you have too much of the male hormone in your body like I do. What you should do is look up a dermatologist in your area and he can pioulqprescribe you spironolactone. I literally encourage you to do this because they can check hormones and growing hair on your body at the age of 25 is not normal . Hormones control everything in your body including hair Growth! I dealt with this startsround the same age. I have been On spironolactone for 2 months and it took all of the symptoms away, including my cystic acne around my jawline and chin. Also my forehead. I started having thinning of my hair around my ears. I couldn’t tell unless I put my hair in a ponytail. I feel much better now after taking it for 2 months. I have no more bad cysts on my face, my hair in my head is getting thicker while places of unwanted hair are thinning out. Hope this helps!

The pill is designed to prevent ovulation, how ever when there is breakthrough ovulation then, it tries to make the environment unpleasant to abort (aka: miscarry) the baby. There is no telling how many times a break through ovulation can occur. So no, not a myth.

You may want to visit a GP and ask them about PCOS. The symptoms you are describing sounds like it could be something you have :)

I experience this but I am not on the pill and never have been. Just extremely huge clumps of burnt light red colored tissue that is painful
