Just had the same experience today..HOLY sh*t.
I had unprotected sex about less than a week ago, and then the next day had what I thought was my period..and it lasted for a day, which was so weird. That was about 3 days ago. So I was a little worried I had pregnant, so I took some vitamin C yesterday and today (quite a bit..about 4000 mg total in 48 hours, which is at borderline maximum daily dosage for women) and then tonight my period just came out!It looked like the amount of blood that was supposed to come out in 4 days came out all at once..I'm still cramping a bit, but it's getting a lot better. My guess is that it is a miscarriage, seeing that it tends to happen with people taking the pill. I'm going to go see a doctor tomorrow to make sure everything is okay.

no. I'm sorry. this is very wrong. "lubrication" of the vagina and passing tissue are two completely different things and definitely feel completely different.

I just had a similar thing happen to me. I have been prescribed HRT because I started the menopause early (well I'm 45 this yr so not too early) I was put on a non cyclical hrt, so I wouldn't get a period, I hadn't had one for 9 months before due to menopause, but it has given me the longest heaviest period |I've ever had 7 days and counting and cramps and tummy ache, when I used to only get a mild back ache on first day. Well this morning I changed my tampon and noticed a piece of membrane, not a clot, more like a fleshy thing had come out with it. Never really had this before, apart from a miscarriage. Have done some research and most say it's part of the womb lining coming out with the blood and not to worry it's quite normal. Maybe because I went 9 months without a period, that has something to do with it, don't really want to go to drs about it, but if bleeding doesn't stop will have to. My body has stopped bleeding naturally, maybe we shouldn't mess with natures way.

It could be endometrium.
