Happen to me 3 months ago then again this month.
Along with it came a very long heavy period.
I'm still googling it because I'm traumatised & most say it's lining.

I have never been so freaked out in my life! I recently got on the arm implant birth control and I did not get my period for 2 consecutive months. But then I got my period at first it was a dark brown and I instantly began to freak. After a couple google searches I realized it was normal. However, a couple of days in my period I began to feel this big pain. It didn't let me sleep! And then I felt a huge lump squeeze out. I immediately went to the restroom and saw blood with skin look-a-like thing on my pad. Again, I began to FREAK, I thought "What is this! Is this a miscarriage!?" But how I was never pregnant. Thank god I found this. I am relieved and now I can finally sleep.

That sounds like a large clot. They can have a solid 'liver lobe' like appearance

Hi! So I get this too and I just started the pill 2 months ago! If it's accompanied by super bad cramps (what I get), it's literally just your uteran lining shedding all at one time! The pill causes it to thicken, so when it finally sheds, it's a lot thicker and more than usual. Nothing to worry about.

Hello. I never had sexual intercourse(unless someone abused me when I was a baby) ,never went to the gyneco And , for the first time, I noticed the same thing you described above in my period. I used to have little gelatin like substances in my period. This time though the cramps felt different(there was a sharp type of pain on both sides of my lower stomach, probably where my ovaries were, instead of a pain in my uterus). A few days later when my period came it came with two pieces of elastic grey skins of 5 cm each with little tiny veins . Worrisome, I tried to wash it from the blood but the blood was part of it. It was foul smelling and before even smelling it I was already nauseous let alone after it. The thought of psichological pregnancy came to my mind or something I've eaten that is making my period smell like that.

Maybe try looking into getting tested or even simply do some research about PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), I can understand a fear of doctors. Just speaking of you feeling there is a hormonal imbalance, you could be right. PCOS isn't well known at this point in medicine but it could help you start with basic changes to help without medication. PCOS has to do with an imbalance of the female-male hormones in your body which can cause excessive body hair, decreased sex drive, and may also explain some other things for you. It is a hereditary disease, and symptoms can take until you are 18years+, I was diagnosed at 21, about 4 1/2 years ago.
However I know I am not a doctor(and sometimes you have to search for a Dr that is aware of PCOS), but I can relate to some of your story so I wanted to share some knowledge. Best of luck!

Make sure to go take a picture and bring to your OBGYN. I had this as welll, it was like skin. My ended up being Polyps. Don't worry, but always check with your doctor. Save it or take a picture of the sample. Going online can be helpful, but there is nothing like double checking with your doctors.

I know that ending birth control can confuse the body tremendously. I can't say for certain what the small tissue was. If it wasn't attached to a blood clot, it probably wasn't a miscarriage. I've never had any thing white or gooey, but some others have mentioned pelvic inflammatory disease sometimes causes tissue to show up. It might be related to that.
I really hope she has told the doctor though and asked for more information.

Instead of posting online and having amateurs assess what you have GO TO THE DOCTOR!! I used to access these boards never found the solution to why I had large clots, thought it was peri menopause. Then one day I faint finally went to the doctor and found I had cervical cancer. It was a large tumour but luckily still stage one (meaning hadn't spread). The doc said had I waited 6 mtgs longer it may have spread.
