This is the 4th day of coming off suboxone. It's not near as bad as I though it would be. I have no enery and the occasional stomach cramp but for the most part, im ok. I have heard that day 5 & 6 are the worst though. Is that true? What can I do to ease the symptoms?

How much were you taking? I'm on 22mg and trying to taper slowly and hope I can get to where you're at. I've heard that it takes 5-6 days before any severe withdrawal symptoms begin because Suboxone has such a long half life.

i went to rehab, day 8-9 are the worst. it is much better to go to a rehab hospital. they give you catapres and serquel to help with the symptoms and benetyl with the abdominal cramping. i am a medical professional, thought i would never end up in rehab, i did, and i feel so much better n i don t crave opiates. i can feel feelings, if that makes sense. its hard to stop sub on ur own. no one knew i was in rehab but my family i took a leave from work for two weeks. just do it, my insurance covered it. the withdrawals are not as bad as these forums say, infact they scared the c**p out of me reading them all. it can be done in a rehab. facility. call your insurance co and ask for places which they cover. i was shocked how many places there were close to me. sub. made me tired and i don't what docotrs say, yes it does make you high. but i got sick of it. i feel so much better and i am so much happier. cuz on sub. i was irriatable, couldn't wait to leave work and take a nap. know i enjoy my job, family, and life and i don't take naps everyday.
