Don't stop now!!!
My daughter was a heroin addict for several years and she went "cold turkey" tho she had no choice as i had her arrested. They do not give you anything in jail unless your pregnant or an alcoholic.
When she couldn't score her heroin, she was searching for suboxone to fill in the gaps. There were a few times i even took her to get a few because i couldn't stand to see her suffer and i would not buy her heroin.
It took her about a week to start to feel even half way human again, but was still lethargic and sluggish. The aches and pains stopped and the trips to the bathroom slowed down considerably. She kept the "creepy crawly" feeling for a while longer after but got thru it with no kind of drug, ie, suboxone or methadone.
You should start to feel better soon, but in the meantime, please be positive. It's okay to just lie in bed for now, hopefully your job will wait for you. Just keep yourself hydrated and make sure you eat something, even if you don't feel like it. Munch on an apple or keep a bowl of grapes or something next to you.
I honestly know that you still feel like s**t, but it's okay. A little bit of aggrivation is worth a life time of happiness.
When you say "i can't go thru this much longer", please don't revert back, all your hard work will go straight down the drain.
Just pop in line and look for one of us to chat with, or send a private e-mail, someone is always here and waiting to help. There is a thread here that is dedicated to drug use, there is plenty of suboxone chatter. Take a look and maybe you can find someone that is going thru what you are. In the meantime, keep your head down and push forward, you doing well and it won't be long now.
