Did you find a doctor to remove them? I’m trying to find a doctor for me but no one will help. Do you feel better? And can you share you surgeon who removed name please?

total thyroidectomy and parathyroid surg 2018 found out recently have surgical clips never new have been complaining of neck pain ,severe headaches, and now oct/nov 2020 bp very hi syst over 200 daily whats going on?

Help! I’m in the same situation but can’t find a surgeon to remove my 18 surgical clips from my thyroid. I’ve called hundreds of ent’s and endocrinologists including Mayo Clinic, Stanford health, Mt Cedars....they all say no. I’m told it’s impossible to do. My doctors are not helping me find anyone, they “don’t have the resources” to call hundreds. I have had a positive metal allergy test for titanium and nickel. I need these out before they kill me with the systemic symptoms. My autonomic nervous system is being impacted so I’m not sure how much longer my body can take this. Can you please let me know who removed yours? How do I find someone?

I need a doctor that's willing to do this. To stand there 8 hours if necessary to get ALL of them!! God bless you for finding someone and I hope your health has improved. If anyone has any information of doctors in the USA willing and able to remove all clips, please please let me know. I'm slowly dying with systemic allergy reaction.

I am allergic and more than once before my total thyroidectomy, spoke in depth with the surgeon about NOT using anything, he assured me he could codirize leaving no foriegn objects in me. 3 days after surgery I knew i was having a reaction. I asked him if he used clips and he said yes. I was horrified, I asked why after all our conversations would he do that and he went silent. Looked back in my chart and said I had no choice. Long and short neither he or any other surgeon will remove them approx 38 of them, and my pcp keeps putting me on steriods and antibiotics trying to calm the reaction. Now i have severe pain. Lumps and a blistering rash on my skin( face and neck) still no one will remove them. Also have trouble swallowing and my vocal gold is now paralized.

Hi all, I am in the same situation my chiropractor is the one who informed me I have a clip he was confused now I’m going through pain kind of allergy on my neck it’s really annoying I might even sue the doctors

Hi, I too found out I have surgical clips after parathyroidectomy in 20/22… I am feeling something but the surgeon doesn’t think it’s the clips! I disagree! Something is feeling off and affecting my breathing!
