Hi
I got the sweet taste in my throat for couple days and it got worse at night (after 5p.m). It cause me to drink lot of water (more than 2 litters/day). I wonder if anyone have it before and do you think it is a symptom for Diabetes? (i'm 30 years old/female)
and does anyone know how much it cost for diabetes test?

Hi! You'll probably find some useful information here https://www.steadyhealth.com/constant_sweet_taste_in_mouth_t81580.html
Diabetes can and often does go undiagnosed because the symptoms can seem harmless and oftentimes normal. Some diabetes symptoms include: Frequent urination, Excessive thirst, Extreme hunger, Unusual weight loss, Increased fatigue, Irritability, Blurry vision. Do you have any of those other symptoms too?

Contact your doctor, if you have medical insurance, it should be covered. The doctor would simply give you a lab slipe and you take it to the lab your insurance company uses. If you don't have medical insurance, you can look up the FREE clinic closest to you and go there early when they open, you may have to wait a little to be seen. I also have this sweet taste in the back of my throat and I have a family history of diabetes-- my father has type 2 biabetes. Also, I'm a little over weight and sedentary. I already contacted my doctor and awaiting a return call for an appointment, so you should do the same (JUST DON'T IGNORE IT.)
