In August of 2005, my 15 yr old son was diagnosed with Hodgins disease , right paratrachael side. Did Chemo and radiation just finished in February of this year. Just went to the oncologist, has a swollen (not painful) lympnode on the upper left clavical. Last blood work his sedimentation rate was 32 which is high, today it dropped to 22 but is still high. We are so worried that this another cancer, because this is the opposite side of where his hodkgins was, and that aren't these lympnodes connected to stomach cancers? Please advise...thank you.

This could be a recurrence of the Hodgkins. A classic Hodgkins sign in a nonpainful swollen almost rubbery lymph node.

I hope I am wrong, and that it all turns out for the best!
