For the past three days, my stomach has been expanding rapidly. Right now, it appears like I am five months pregnant. The skin in really taut and my stomach is hard. Swelling of the stomach can be frightening thing. This is usually a symptom of some other disorder that your body is experiencing. You might have gallstones, food poisoning or problems with liver. Thing with the swelling of the abdomen is that you need to treat the underlying condition in order to get rid of the swelling. Have you changed anything in your diet in past couple of days? Sometimes this can be a side effect from some medication. Are you taking any medication right now?
This is usually a temporary condition and it should go away after few days but if it still there you should see a doctor and run some test.
