33 yr female living in pnw. My upper eye lids have been swelling terribly nightly (only when I sleep inside my house. Purchased my cedar log home a year ago, no issues until 4 months ago. I removed all carpet, have had allergy testings for cedar, dogs, pigs, various things that I have contact with & all negative. I sealed the wood in my kabedroom and problem still persists (was a test to see if sealing all the wood may take care of problem. I have extremely high rough sawn ceilings in rest of house) there is no mold or moisture under home or roof and it's tolerable while sitting in the larger great room of home. I can be inside during daytime with no issues. It starts around 7 pm and gets worse when I sleep inside house or bedroom. Been living in a tent in back yard or staying with friends/neighbors/camping and I have zero issues on other properties. If I had a cedar allergy, it should also attack me when staying in friends cedar tongue n groove home, or in my garden with cedar chips. Can't keep living this way. Ruining my relationship and my spirit :-( I have allergy covers on everything, only use natural non scented soaps/skin care/detergent. I Make my own holistic lotions with manuka honey/cetaphil. 8 months ago, it all started when I had my first shingles outbreak ever. Shortly after, I managed to get scabies from a friend who I hugged. after treating for scabies, I then developed eczema on soft tissue areas and I was diagnosed by a derm. Weeks after eczema areas were calming down with help of manuka honey or oil, then my upper eye lids started flaring up. Dermatologist gave steroid creams and they help skin but not eyelids. I don't want to take steroids orally or inject. I'm active, a healthy vegetarian for 27 years, I take my vitamins have terrific hygiene why????? Mother does have autoimmune issues and she suffers from a dry eye illness, she did have her tear ducts operated on but it continues to irritate her. But our symptoms are not comparable so its a mystery. I nightly habits have not changed. Feel like I'm running out of options. Delirious now, excuse spelling errors. Please help me.... Kindreds.
