Ok. This has never happened to me before. While I was taking a shower,I was a little bit it hey down there. Then one-two hours later I went to use the bathroom and the right side of my vaginal wall was quite swollen. I looked at things on the internet and everything had something that was not for me. I am the only one that touches down there and I do not get a period...yet. could this mean that I am starting my period? Do I have anything to worry about? I do not want to tell my mom because I am embarrassed. What can I do to at least bring the swelling down? Any and all suggestions are well appreciated.

First off you should not be embarrassed and should learn how to openly talk to your mother. She has been through everything your going to go through and she can help you more than anyone.

Next if your swollen it could be several different things. Have you started any new medications? Have you changed your bath soap? Is there an itch, burn, or discharge?

If it doesnt go away within 24 hours you will have to talk to your mother and probably make a doctors appointment with your family doctor.
