Christmas eve I slipped on a jacket on floor and slammed into a slate table. I hit on my left side quite hard. It bruised quite badly, and even though it was sore to touch it wasn't excrutiating. But as of Monday this week I have started suffering quite a bit of pain. Coughing, sneezing, twisting and minor movement set it it off. It is a constant pain and it has been a couple weeks since orignal injury. I don't understand why it is getting worse rathaer than better

I was on the trampoline and i was to close to the edge and i fell off the side and i fell on my back hard and it hurts really bad if i cough, laugh, twist, sit, sometimes lay, touch it, bend over and i can barely breathe....

I got "bear-hugged" by someone the other day. She gripped me around the bottom of my rib cage and she squeezed really hard. My friend was mad at me so she wanted to hurt me and get revenge. I think that she may have fractured or even broken some of my ribs because there is intense pain there that will not go away, and I cannot breathe deep, laugh, caugh, or even walk without wincing in pain. I have to walk up stairs at school numerous times and I'm afraid I won't be able to do it. It hurts to walk or sit for even small amounts of time. What do I do?

I really think I have a cracked rib but I do not know..a friend of mine hugged me really hard last Wednesday (Today is Monday)...so hard that he picked me up. When he hugged me I was kinda at an angle. The minute he did it...it hurt like crazy and took the breathe out of me. Ever since then it hurts really bad under my chest in my ribs...
I am having a really hard time breathing as well. It hurts to drive. I can not sleep or lay on either side it hurts to bad. I am readying that yes broken or fractured ribs hurt but I am not reading a lot about people having a hard to breathing. I just can not seem to take and get a deep breath...Is this normal or could this be some thing more serious or am I way off path? I think I am going to the doctor later today? Any one have any answers?

i was riding my bike a long time ago in a skatepark and i wreck coming off a ramp and i hit the ground at full force i was going pretty fast and when i landed my front tire twisted and i slammed into the ground now my ribs hurt what do you think it is?

I cracked my rib 6 days ago and haven't felt that stabbing pain. It's unusual, because I've always experienced the stabbing pain before.
This is not the first time this has happened. I have weak bones from medication I've taken all my life.
I have a feeling it may be because of where it's cracked and the fracture may not be that large.

i was coming home from kely point park, and my daughter put me on one of those walkers that have a seaet on them, she thought it would hep me get out of the park easier, since i had back surgery 10 yrs ago, and i find it very haed to walk without a cain, Well we hit a bump and down i went, straight on my back, i hit my head, didnt loose con. but i have a head ach, and my entire back were the rod is and the 8 screws.are killing me pain wise, all the hospitals i called had a 3 hr wait to them and i didnt want to sit in a hard chair that long. i have thrown up. just once, but the pain is almost unberiable, if my rib is broke how long do i need to have all this pain? anyone know?
