It seems that I am having tumor in my ovary; actually it is ovarian fibroma, and they are going to remove it with laparoscopic techniques. Is it possible that this is something else other the ovarian fibroma, I am afraid of cancer. How do they know those symptoms are not cancer symptoms?

Listen, ovarian fibromas are benign solid tumors that occur in the ovary. They can be very large and completely fill the pelvis pushing the uterus upward also could be seen hanging from ovary. Laparoscopies technique is used in this case, leaving a normal uterus and ovaries. There are many different types of ovarian cancer, but I am sure that your doctor wouldn’t make such a big mistake and mix ovarian fibroma symptoms with cancer symptoms. Take care.
