We have a 4 years old son who just burnt his arm while inspecting the oven, as he explained it to us. But the doctor said that in the systematization of the burns, he has the lightest one that belongs to a first degree and that he should be fine. What are other burn degrees?

Well, there are another two or some would say three additional levels. The first one is truly the lightest, that ends up with nothing but redness of the skin. The second includes blisters while the third one affects deep skin layers. The last one attacks the tissue under the skin and can cause a lot of damage.
