Hi all.....
Well its been awhile.....So things are better, much better. My throat feels uncomfortable at times and a drippy sensation still occurs at times especially at night time in bed. But my taste has gradually improved and although at times can be a little bland, on the whole its a massive improvement and I can live with it. Some stuff is better than other stuff but to be honest its something I hardly notice anymore. Im sure its not 100% but to be completely truthful I can live with it and thank god for improvement from where i was a 11 months ago.
On that note I have to say I think im done. I go back to my specialist in early November but dont foresee anything other than closure. I just want to thank eahc and everyone of you that has offered me hope and prayers during the painful time of not knowing....
I hope my post serve as hope to others and I thank everyone for their support and wish you all the very best, I will be sticking around for sure. Believe it or not I have other issues such as epidydimitis that wont budge so I will be looking around for advice before I head back to the hospital to see the urologist............sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh im falling apart.

Hi Justin! Thanks for giving us an update! I really am encouraged by it and that sounds good. I am sure that you will be at 100% again someday but I agree that right now it is a little difficult to ascertain. Can you let us know how you're doing in a few weeks?

After severe vomiting even expelling through my nose I can no longer taste particular coffee which is now very bitter. I think that I lost my sense of taste.

Since I've gotten mirena, my taste buds have changed. I normally love food and it's so yummy. But lately what tasted like heaven is now dull. Am I the only one experiencing this?
