Hey everyone I'm 16 and a little over a year ago I noticed a somewhat hard lump on the bottom of my right testicle. I thougt it was nothing at the time but am now getting more worried about it as I've been learning about testicular cancer in school. It hasn't changed at all since I first noticed it a year ago and it only hurts when I mess with it. It's about a quarter the size of a pea or maybe a little bigger. The pain when I mess with it is the same as if I were squeezing my testicle. Both testicles feel normal and are normal in size. I know I need to see a doctor and will probably tell my mom about it later today, but for now, any ideas?

Most testicular lumps or swellings are not a sign of cancer. Research has shown that less than 4% of testicular lumps are cancerous. For example, varicoceles (swollen blood vessels) are a common cause of testicular lumps. But they should never be ignored. You should visit your GP as soon as you notice a lump or swelling in one of your testicles. For example, varicoceles (swollen blood vessels) are a common cause of testicular lumps. You shoudl mention this to your mom and see a doctor, you could also try to google diuretic andanti-inflammatory pill, it provides online service for free, i think the online doctor may give you more professional suggestions. Good luck!
