Hi Shayne,

It may be normal, and likely is.

On your testicles there is a part called the epididymis.  It does stick out a bit and can feel like a lump.  It would be unusual for you to have a problem in both testicles at the same time.

Your doctor could exam you and confirm that what you are feeling is normal.

Hope it helps.

Yeah, it could be harmless, it could also be a more serious problem. I suggest you wait for a couple of days to look if this lump may disappear. Maybe it's just caused by a slight inflammation or even heavy internal heat, and you'll be fine in a few days. (hope this) But, if your lump may exist and even get worse, then you need to pay much attention to it, and you have to go to doctors. Your problem might be associated with a varicocele. Varicoceles (swollen blood vessels) are a common cause of testicular lumps. Of course, there're other possibilities, and i think you may make it clear later. Well, i know "99eyao"provides online service for free, maybe you could google it and consult the onling doctors, i think they may help you. Good luck!

Unfortunately, the only way to know for sure is an examination by a doctor. He'd need to palpate your testicles to feel the lumps and possibly do an ultrasound.

It is unusual for both testicles to be affected by cancer, varioceles, etc. - at the same time.
