My husband is 78 years old, he's had two strokes the 1st stroke he received medical help in time to reverse the stroke. the 2nd stroke a year later he happen to be home by himself and the stroke lasted at least 7 to 8 hours before I came home and found him.

He's recover I would say very well, except his moods are dark and sometimes scary, since December 2022, he started drinking almost a bottle a day and, I've tried to speak to him however his mood makes it impossible to talk to him. I need help I'm like a stranger in my home the best way to talk about hid dark moods is that he's going down the rabbit hole.

Hi, guest.

So sorry to hear what you are going through. I know it can be tough.

Have you tried talking to him about seeking professional help to address his drinking and mood change?

He should speak to his doctor or a mental health professional to discuss the best approach for his situation. Additionally, it is important to provide emotional support and encouragement to him.

He may also benefit from attending support groups and other resources that can help him cope with his condition.

Hope he will recognize what is best for both of you.
