Only last a day or two.
Causes "constant swallowing". Feels like a little air-pocket in the left side of my throat.

Well, I must say that it is fascinating to me that you can live with something like this for years and do nothing about it. You have never mentioned this to your doctor?
Did you try to use some alternative medicine to get rid of that bubble feeling inside your throat?
I believe that you have some sort of issue with your tonsils and I believe that you should visit your doctor. He will probably send you to the ENT doctor so you can be diagnosed by an expert for throat issues.
