heyy....ive been having this some kind of a vibrating or tingling kind of a sensation at the back side of my head...as if there is something hitting me very softly from inside on my head(in the scalp>>)with a very high freqency!!feels like theres something in my hair..or inside..i really dont know wat it is!!..anyone??

This is going to sound nuts but there are a ton of people out there feeling this. This site has alot of people with the same symptoms. I have just found out that there are so many other people experiencing this feeling like tingling like someone is touching your hair and no one is there. I kept it to myself but found out Im not alone.

Did you ever find out what this is? This has just started happening to me over the past couple of days - at first I thought a fly was landing on my head, and would try swatting it away - but nothing was there. It's driving me nuts!!

I am having creepy crawly feelings and pain in the back of my head many of you described, it began about a week ago. I already had a CT it found nothing wrong. I don't know whether to run to the ER or wait it out. This is very hard to deal with. I also have panic attacks and anxiety disorder since 1994. I wish someone would get a clear answer. Even I have the same tingling sensation on the backside of my head , neck and entire body. I checked with my Neurologist and he did blood serum test and found that it was due to extremely low level of vitamin B12 or Vitamin B12 deficiency. He has given me Vitamin B12 tablets 1500 mg once daily and and a narcotic pain killer.

I too am experiencing tingling in my head' I've been keeping a food diary and it seems that dairy products are the trigger in my case; have any of you heard of this? My CT Scan came back clear and we are at a standstill as to what the next step should be. I'm cutting out all dairy and see if that makes any difference. My first episode was in 07 and is now happening again...

i've been having these same symptoms for some time but it starts in the base of my neck. i feel like a bubble moves up into my brain and then back down my spine. the tingling moves in waves over my head and down my body. i've felt tightness on the left back of my head and then it feels like it pops and warm liquid pours down my spine underneath the skin. my skull sometimes feels like its on sideways.
does anyone ever feel the urge to crack your joints when this happens? i tend to do that and sometimes every joint pops....individual finger bones, wrists, elbows, shoulders, thigh to hip joints, knees, toes...everything. sometime the tingling goes away after that. sometimes it doesn't.
i've gotten ct scans and they've showed nothing unusual. i've been going to a chiropractor for 6 months and have been felling incredibly better up until about a month ago - but thats when my job became incredibly stressful. so stress is obviously the trigger.

I have had this sensation of something tickling or crawling on my scalp for the past few weeks. At first I thought it was lice, so I did the initial OTC lice treatment (even though I didn't see any lice or nits). After a day, the sensation came back. 10 days later, I couldn't take it anymore, and I did another lice treatment, thinking it still was that, and now 3 days after doing the second treatment...i'm still having this crawling/tickling sensation on my scalp. It starts in one place, and moves to another, then another. It's not like there are "lots of bugs" in my head at one time. I had both my husband and step-mom look very closely at my hair, to see if they saw anything, and they couldn't see anything whatsoever.
What could this sensation be caused from? Any answers would be great.

I have a a strange tingling rubbing sensation after living in a disgusting filthy house. iit crack and feels like blub for a second and such.
i have tried taking Miracle Mineral Solution for it. I have also tried many things. I was in college but had to drop out until i can get rid of it. sometimes it feels like something in there is crusty a bit, like fish fat. and it rubs against something and makes a noise. like if you licked your hand rubbed it until it makes a crack as it parts. I have seen a doctor but first said i was crazy. they said that you die within two days if you have a infection in your brain. but that is not true. to test for encephalitis it takes two - three weeks. the doctor is really the crazy one. everyone is different. what i think it is is either 2 things. it is a damaged part with dead tissue. or it is a parasite. there are types of parasites that have not even been discovered in a laboratory yet. and also there are germs that cause problems like such. which the doctor cannot test for.
but i tried MMS, sodium chlorite, and mixed it with citric acid. it helps. i started 4 days ago. and also bathing in it helps too. i know it is an infection i even know where i caught it. while i was living there symptoms became out of control. if i went back in they would worsen. i have also been taking wormwood, black walnut, cloves. for parasites. i bought a jar of it from the whole foods market. they added in some other herbs as well. it comes premixed its called: Healthforce internal parasite formula. i started taking 10 a day. it does not help if you dont take atleast 10 a day. what it is in an infection. The doctor is a fool. he does not know what it is. and they think that the text book is infallible. they are wrong. but maybe i will return to good health. your brain can heal if the cells are still connected. get rid of the infection, then the damage will heal in about a year.

About two weeks ago...I started getting this tingling sensation about twice a day on the left side of my head and neck. It was if someone was tickling me along my ear and hairline...then it started a week later on the left side of my neck and now its in my chin area. It doesn't hurt...doesn't bother me. Its just a wierd feeling that is a little distracting. No numbness...no pain. Now its occuring 6+ times a day. I see my GP doctor in two weeks, and I'm sure he'll say the same thing....Stress! is the cause.
