yes ive been dealing with this tingling off and on for a couple of weeks now.  also a numbing sensation on the tongue and nasal cavity along with an eye twitching/nervous tick.  I first noticed it after a stressful situation and a day of worrying.  It was triggered also by certain foods that i ate namely french fries.

Ct was negative and i appear healthy by the blood tests and std checkup.

Ive had a self diagnosis of anxiety, look that up and see what you think.

After initial thoughts of sinus infection and tooth infection were not good enough for me.

Most recently i was told to drink less caffeine as well as stop taking those vitamins to see how I respond.

I'm not completely cured of the symptoms but they are very infrequent and i'm just starting to not take my vitamins.

before you go to get checked up if it's not sever look into anxiety relief is my suggestion.

If it helps, the marines won't take you if you're on psychiatric meds as an adult.

hi

i first started suffering from these symptoms in 2008 and it now 2015 7 years on and im still suffering how ever i guess the main thing is even thou everyday it feels like im going to die im still here. the first thing that happened was a shooting pain in my head, however it was not your average pain it felt that intense that i was sure it would kill me this went on everyday for 2 months until i started getting a huge pressure build up in my head. then after about another year i had a trickling water feeling in my head and a feeling like my brain was cold it was around this time i first saw a neurologist other the next few years up to now i have seen neurologists a number of times, try'd a number of tablets and had a number of new symptoms the symptoms i now suffer are pinching pains on the brain, trickling water, bugs crawling on my brain, seizures, body jerks, legs trailing, slurred speech, pressure build up in head, electric shocks threw brain. i have been prescribe naproxen, gabipentin pre gablin, propranol, amantadine, imapraim none of which have worked. ive had 2 CT scans,  1 MRI, 1 EEG n one of which have shown anything, the neurologist have now said there's only two options just find a tablet which can help with the pain (not cure it) or just wait for it to one day stop. basically this is something we will proberly have for the rest of our lives i personally think its a rare condition and not enough is none about it for a diagnoses. the doctors are giving up on me and unless i have a stroke or a hemorridge i will not be given any more help from the health service all i can do is carry on to cope the best i possibly can. if this is new to you then stay strong because it proberly wont kill you try to find ways to cope and keep at your doctor maybe if one of us can find a diagnoses then it can help us all.

I have the same symptoms, along with temporary amnesia episodes. My neurologist believes it is due to circulation issues at the vertebral basal vessel at the base of the skull. Ask for an ambulatory EEG and a brain catheter test (sounds worse than it is). Might help shed light on your issues and get you feeling better. Remember you are your own health advocate, so keep pushing the doctors for answers. All the best to you.

I've experienced these weird tingling sensations for about a month. From the top left side of my head down the left side of my body. I saw a psychiatrist and they gave me some medicine for anxiety and racing thoughts. I've been taking it for about 3 weeks and it is starting to get better. I have a strong feeling these tingling feelings might be brought on by anxiety based on my personal experience. I found this website pretty much summed up the weird tingling feelings that I've been feeling. Hope this helps at least maybe give some comfort that your not the only one. May the Lord God bless you!

Has anyone tried to add more potassium to your diet. (i.e. avocado, banana, white beans). I read these could be caused by low potassium level.

I would suggest getting it checked out if not because left arm pains and numbness I've heard can be problems with your heart but I'm not sure 100%

Gosh u have described my exact nerve sensations that I get. When I get these flare ups my hair literally hurt. It also feels mushy and full of air bubbles and when I squeeze my hair it makes popping sounds. I also get loud roaring/buzzing noises in my ears when the flare up starts. If I put any pressure on my head or skin the ringing in the ears gets louder and the nerve sensations get worse. I can't even lay down or sit. I usually have to stand for about 20minutes to give it time to calm down. It's so weird, if I even think about the pain and how the nerve sensations feels I will all of sudden have extreme pressure and pain on my scalp, hair and skin. Just thinking about it starts a flare up, strangest thing ever. Went to the neurologist and had an MRI done and it came back normal. He gave me neurontin to take. It helped a little bit. When it gets really bad I also get a sensation in my throat as if a hot needle is trying to push from back of my neck towards my throat.
