Tiny Red Dot on Lip

I have a tiny red dot on my lip. It showed up about 5 months or so when my boyfriend and I were playing around and he bit my lip. I am not sure if that is what caused it or something else. It has reduced in redness since then but it hasnt gone away. Is there anything i can do about it?
