Hi, I have been taking Aspirin for some time to relieve pain of rheumatoid arthritis. In time I’ve noticed that my stomach has become more sensitive and that I can’t eat all food as I used to. If I was in great pain I would take up to four or five Aspirins a day, and such high doses may provoke reaction of nervous system, including dizziness. So, in consultation with doctor I decided to take some other drug, called Celebrex, since it belongs to new class of drugs, without side effects in stomach. Celebrex has proven to be good for inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain. Unfortunately, I have stomach pain again from time to time.

the stomach pains and sensitivity is from the aspirin. aspirin is one of the things that wears away the mucus lining of the stomach which protects it from the hydrochloric acid your stomach produces to break down food. if aspirin is used very frequently, the lining will not be able to repair itself and will cause stomach ulcers. be careful
