The left side of my tongue just swelled up and it feels hard. I am away on holidays so this panicked me a bit. I have been to a Dr & he has given me a cortisone injection & a prescription for tablets fir the next 8 days. He told me to call him in 2hrs which I have & the swelling is still the same but no bigger. Now I feel the swelling is going down a bit but I have a bad headache now, is this a sympton of the injection or is this normal? I never have headaches. Just a bit worried now, hope somebody can help. Thanks
