JUST FYI !!

This was the most excruciating thing I ever suffered. For those of you who don't know what to expect, I was a nurse for a while and am used to documenting and recording. Soooo, I took lots of pics immediately post op until I am almost healed every 6-12 hours usually and documented my progress with foods, liquids and pain. Yes even the constipation from the pain meds..lol There is a PDF that you can view with about 30 photos in high resolution, graphic color, and my favorite recipes for stopping the bleeding. The lady on Day 2 should be documenting, cause until day 3 it was a cakewalk...

I went through three quarts of Codeine elixir and about 2 pints of Lortab, plus the percocet that helped a little. The drinking of water was THE SINGLE most important thing in keeping the pain almost manageable, except for a few crying spells. U can see a lot more details on my website. I have talked to women in their 40's that said this was hands down worse than childbirth. I can't acknowledge that since I'm not gonna have any babies..lol

I'm 43 years old, have had multiple broken bones, crushed feet, etc just from Karate class, and suffered a 4 time ruptured appendix (over 6 month period of misdiagnosis-though it healed each time in a few days and was the size of a king size snickers when it was removed.) My ruptured appendix was hands down the worst pain I ever suffered, even worse than a migraine or toothache. However, none of that, NOT ONE past illness put me in tears enough to make me cry. That takes a LOT...
