Hello-

I am a 39 yo male patient that had a tonsillectomy on March 13th due to stones and sleep apnea issues.  I did plenty of research prior to the surgery (I am also a critical care RN and Paramedic) so I was well aware of the recovery challenges that most patients experience.  I have to say that the recovery has mostly lived up to its reputation, although it is doable!  I am on day 6 of the recovery (counting the day of surgery), so I have  some time yet before I will be completely recovered.  I wish everyone having a tonsillectomy a speedy and safe recovery!
