Getting my tonsils taken out in three weeks. Just wanted to know if it's really worth it. I've read a bit about the stages of recovery. A little worried.

i had my tonsils out 3 weeks ago, it wasnt good. i was on the couch for 10 days, had to take meds around the clock, but i also got the upp trimmed off. good luck to you, they say its harder on a adult than child, im 48. but one good thing came out of this, i dont need a breathing machine for bed.other than that its very painful. i also didnt eat for the 10 days, lost a few pounds.after all that i went threw, i then got sick with a viral infection .so good luck to you
