A friend gave me some Trazodone to try since I have problems sleeping. After taking it I find my symptoms have gotten worse. It's like giving a kid Ritalin that doesn't need it, it works the opposite. I use to have no problem falling asleep but wake up after 3-4 hours and not be able to go back to sleep. With the Trazodone I have problems falling asleep and seem to be awake most of the night. What would cause this?
