i had my tubes tied and cut in 12/09...my periods are always,always, on time. my last period was sept 27-oct 2. i have not had one again and my periods come every 28-30 days.....took a home pregnancy test.....but came back neg.....should i go see a doctor or jus wait to see if it comes?

Hi there, If you are correct on all your dates you are only 8-10 days late, you should probably give it another week before you start to worry. If you are going through anything stressful, that can change the hormones and can bring on an early period or delay it. If you take another HPT, say next Sunday and it is negative you should probably make an appointment with your GYN to check for any other reasons for your period to be delayed, such as endometriosis, or an ectopic pregnancy, (that can cause a negative test result) these are not necessarily what is going on with you, just examples. I have to say, when I read your post, it was like I was reading about myself, I too had a tubal ligation in 12/09, and oddly enough my Sept. cycle was on the 27th, (but did have one the 26th of Oct tho.) Interesting no? Anyway, I hope this has been helpful, try to relax and give it some time before you get to anxious ok. I am on here a lot, so feel free to let me know if you need anything else.
