Your doing some extra stuff ya they like it when you open doors and stuff but sometimes women (girls w/e) like to buy their own stuff.. wut they mean by big brother is you guard them to much it seems like your a pushover (no offense)... i am a nice guy soon to be 16 in high school and talk to all kinds of girls do some stuff that they talk about...
PS: let the brother thing go.. they like being secure and cared about but not for everything she does (i have studied about girls and learned through my years of school and still learning what make them do this and that...)

Hey the best thing you can do is just keep being yourself. Eventually you will find a girl who loves you for who you are, a nice, caring young man. I am much of the same way and i know exactly what you are saying. I have found a perfect girl and she loves me because of who i am. It took me a long time, but it is not always that way. Just have hope and have fun, and if a girl sees who you are, and she cant apprciate it then she is the one losing not you! Don't worry, good things happen to good people.
