-Let's start with this. About 6 weeks ago, I went to the gyno. Got a prescription for new birth control. Fine. Had a pap. Week later, I got a call back saying I was negative for all STDs, but they have a concern with cancerous cells that may be growing so I'm needed back in 6 months. I'm also positive for HPV. -A week ago, I got a UTI. I always used to get them as a kid, would go to the doctor and get the nasty tasting antibiotic. This time, I drank an entire jug of pure cranberry juice and I was better in 2 days. -But after the UTI seemed to disappear, I had a dull, very, very uncomfortable pain that seemed to be deep inside my vagina. It was uncomfortable to even sit. I took a mirror check, and my vaginal opening was swollen practically shut caused by what seems to be a bump. Inserting a tampon has never been so uncomfortable. -Yes I'm sexually active but between the UTI & now this, I haven't had sex in weeks. I have 1 partner who I've been with for years, even before going to the gyno, so I know were both clean. -I'm just so frustrated at this point. Ironically, my gynos a penis, and I don't appreciate having visits with him. Any idea what could possibly be wrong now? Too many complications for an 18 year old in my opinion.
