Hello,
I'm a healthy 22 year old male. 8 days ago I vomited most of the night due to the flu. Ever since then I've had a strange pressure in the area between the tip of my tailbone and anus. It's a very strange feeling: almost as though I need to have a bowel movement, yet not actually having to do so. I've also felt quite bloated and have gained a few pounds. The feeling is very uncomfortable, being worse after standing (as though something is pushing against my pelvic floor), and before bed. I'm actually losing sleep because of it.
At first I thought I was constipated, but stool softeners, stimulant laxatives, increased fibre and plenty of water aren't providing relief. Tylenol and anti-inflamitories aren't helping either.
I've been putting off getting this checked out because I'm in exams right now, but I'm probably going to make an appointment soon.
Is this simply muscle strain from vomiting that one night?
Any input is appreciated.

Maybe internal hemroids which could happen due to strain. If you see your stool dark almost black, it meas dry blood. Either way, get checked.
