I'm a concerned young woman, very reticent about going to the doctors about anything unless its fairly certain. I've noticed that both my labia seem to be larger than usual, darkening in colour and developing an uneven 'bobbly' surface. Is this something I should be worrying about? Or is it a normal-ish thing? I have suffered from unexplained bouts of 'thrush like symptoms' (which continues to go undiagnosed despite investigations) and I have noticed these changes occuring for the past few months. There is no pain, itching or anything else unusual (discharges, smells etc).
I'm just concerned as to whether this might be something dodgy, but I dont want to go running to the gp's if its going to turn out to be something normal. Has anybody got any ideas?

I was wondering if you were talking about your labia majora. The outside part of your labia majora should darken closer to the crease from your labia to your leg. The more I age the more my labia majora seems to loosen and looks somewhat like you describe. Have you head anything further?

I have the same symtoms and have found on the internt that when labia minoras are too long they absorb water and get infected causing an uneven, blister like surface. I still have to get this checked :$ .
