I thought it was just me! I have them all the time and I’m 14. I have no clue what causes them but I hate it.

I just searched if you have like a sickness or something like that because I just felt that like two minutes ago and got worried and scared whenever it happens it's strange.

It makes me feel sooo good that so many people have had this happen to them it happened often when I was a child and it did stop and I barely remember it happening in my older years , every once in a while I feel like it may but it doesn’t fully come. I was so scared when I was little and never knew how to explain it but knowing that so many people have felt the same sensation is a relief

Someone finally put it into words what that feeling is omg. I tend to get the fast feeling when I lack sleep, but sometimes it would happen in class but for the majority usually late at night. Freaks me out sometimes because it feels as if my sense of hearing is better than usual and everything around me seems louder and faster.

I have this as well. However it starts with me feeling like a giant. My phone will start to feel small. Things will feel further away than they are. My phone will feel heavier and bigger in my hands. Then I'll get this feeling of "fastness" in my head. I usually play slow calming music to get my head straight

I read this log a few times a year wishing there was more information available . But no. This log is the only evidence I can find that this phenomenon is happening to more than just myself !

I get this also (currently having one while at work). No idea what it is. Been having them for as long as I can remember also, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one out there

I also had the same thing from my childhood when I was bedridden, sometimes now when I am stressed, usually wen I start thinking deeply or about the surrounding. That feeling is really strange and weird. near object seems very nearer, far objects seems very farther, hearing, very small sounds feel fast and strange, the same urgency feeling ..

I'm still a kid but I get these all the time. I usually try to tell people but I can't explain it much.

It sometimes happens when I wake up or I'm just doing daily activities.

I sometimes try watching videos or listening to music but it doesn't really work. Sometimes I fall back to sleep and it wears away.

I sometimes freak out because I think I'm going crazy. When I'm walking and it happens everything feels like it's moving faster and I'm moving faster. My movement feels faster but it not. Sometimes my friends are looking at me and im walking really slow because I feel like I'm walking fast do I try slowing down my speed.

Thank you for sharing this because I always have this and I finally found someone who had this

I don’t know if I have the same thing but, in my mind everything feels like it speeds up and I have no idea how fast life is going I try to tell myself slow down because everyone else is slowing down If I focus I can hear many different conversations like people are standing next to me. Noises stand out way more then normal

im definitely late haha, but I’m so glad I found all of you and these replies as you guys have the same feeling as me. I checked this out because I’ve been curious to know what this “fast feeling” is as I’m having a little “fast feeling episode” right now! It’s a very weird sensation that happens pretty often. Really cool, thought I was the only one.

I've actually had it a couple of times in a year (15 years old) I've only recently gotten it from being very ill and have had to wake up in the middle of the night feeling the exact same feeling. Even though it goes away quite quickly I still feel scared and confused. I really would like to find out the cause of this and have discovered that sitting down and breathing slowly helps it pass quicker even though my heart rate is going at a normal speed my subconscious feels like everything is 100 times quicker then it should be.
