I also get this as well. I started getting it when I was younger. I am now 16 years old and as you probably can guess I still get it. Everything feels like things are going so fast even my voice. I even get voices in my head(it's very load too). Not trying to sound creepy, but it's like voices that I already heard before. It goes away in like 5-10 minutes, but I really want to know what it is!

I’m 13 and I get these to but slightly different. I used to have nightmares and wake up to this felling of sound going faster than usual. Now I get these during the day but everything is rushed and I feel like everything I say/do is in slow motion. It scares me very much when it happens so I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me what it is.

I get it lots still, I’ve had it for such a long time and I still grt it extremely frequently. I think it is your brain expanding, you are processing information and it’s making everything serm fast, aat the moment I have had it for about 20 mins, I think it’s because I was reading this and I started to know a lot of stuff.

It is your brain gaining information quickly, you mainly get it at school and after might have a headache, it’s totally normal and when you get older it will start fading away

yah I'm thirteen, but it has been happening when i was like eight or ten... and I have that feeling sometimes when i get on my electronic device. It must be that the dopamine coming off of my ipod or some surge of energy or drugish chemical that gives me too much adrenaline and I am so hype then. like if something is dripping, it will immediately accelerate to twice the amount. I mean I thought I was having some sort of seizure.

probably not dude. im thirteen and i know better. If you cant handle things regular speed than you need to go to spec eds because thats not even a chance. I mean good thinking and all but thats not it i bet ten percent of the people if not 30 get this when or a little after they went on an electrical device, your body adjusts to the surrounding a lot and if you are looking into pixels and movement is around you youre brain is processing this as a faster and slower hyper moment. So you basically go into an adrenalin siexure. so thats why. good thinking though buddy. hope they go away. and i hope mine go away too.

I’ve always struggled with this, (im 18 now) so I decided to look it up. If you google “racing thoughts” the Wikipedia page for it is very insightful. Glad I’m not the only one who experiences this
