The colour of your labia have nothing to do with that at all, it's to do with skin pigmentation just like sometimes in the groin area or around the anus or arm pits or under the breasts skin colour can be a darker colour, it can also be down to your heritage as well.

i have the same problem and have recently become self conscience about it after a bf told me hes never seen someone with dark vaginal lips before. Don't be put off by what your boyfriend tells you, your right it is quite a common thing for the labia to be a lot darker like yours and if your boyfriend has a problem with it then I would say he doesn't deserve to have access to that part of your body. As for what your boyfriend says about not seeing it in porn of course you won't see it there because again just like fashion it's all about body perfection and not real life!
