Does anyone here get uterus cysts? I thought you could only get cysts on the ovaries but I guess not. I had an trans-vaginal ultrasound today and she said it looks like a cyst ruptured behind my uterus because there was fluid like a cyst in there. I thought I was dying from a UTI the last few days and that urine culture actually turned out ok and since I still been in pain they had me come in this morning for the ultrasound..but of course today I tell them "It actually isn't hurting as bad finally" Probably because it just ruptured last night. That was when I started not feeling so in pain. I already had my left ovary and tube removed so I thought I was done getting cysts. She said my right ovary looked great so that is good. SO now my uterus is messed up..oh lovely!

So my question is...if I were to go on the pill would it stop cysts near my uterus from forming or does that only work for ovarian cysts? My ob/gyn isn't in until Thursday so I was gonna call maybe and ask to try being on the pill for a few months to see if that helps with my pain issues. I am just not sure cause I really don't need to be on the pill cause dh had a vasectomy already. But if it helps me I will do it.

Anyone have experience with this and what did you do?

Edit: I also forgot to mention she said I have a lot of "Uterus blood vessels" in there? What does that mean?

I feel kind of stupid thinking cysts only formed on the ovaries but that is what I really thought. The other thing is I wonder if those last two times that I "thought" I had a uti it was just more cysts cause the pain is the same that I had those last two times since October that I been calling "UTI's" then cause my ob/gyn never called me back with my results either of those times. They just automatically call in an antibiotic and I take it and it seems to make things all better but now I am wondering if I just got better on my own and that I was just thinking it was my bladder. I am so confused. I wanted to grab my chart from the ultrasound lady and read my results for my last 3 urine cultures. I am not too happy with my ob/gyn right now. The thing that is weird is that my ob isn't in right now so it was another doctor in their group that ordered me to have the ultrasound. I swear it if my ob/gyn was there she would not have ordered it. I just feel like she doesn't get to the bottom of my problems ......but if I started seeing another doctor in the group I would probably be viewed as a traitor since I been seeing this same doc. for 10yrs now and she did my ovary removal surgery to so I feel conflicted about leaving her. I feel I would have to go somewhere else completely even though I really like a couple of the other doctors in her group. See what I mean? Urgh!
