i have been having deep painful sexual intercourse for about 4-5 years now. (it hasn't always been painful) It started off positional and quiet mild and over the years it has progressively gotten worse. I have been to numerous doctors in this time who all seem to say the same thing, try more lube!
I also have started to get a pain (i think) in my bowels, i can feel it when i sit down or contract my muscles in that area, the day after i have sex. It usually disappears within 2 days.
in the past 2 years i have been getting a pain in my right shoulder on the first day of my period which lasts for 2 days then disappears. I have finally found a doctor who thinks i have endometriosis and this shoulder pain is referred pain i am experiencing.
i have had a ultrasound and xrays, and everything appears normal.
I have been to a gynaecologist at a hospital who said to me everything appears normal don't worry. I want to start trying for a baby but i don't know if i should! ?
What else can i do??? Anyone had these symptoms before?

yse, you probably have it. If it wasn't for me doing a PELVIC XRAY and finding an enlarged ovary, then I would have been classified as normal two. Nothing was found in my pap. I was complaining of pain in both places like you. The doctor had a pelvic x-ray done. I ended up getting a laporoscopy done and they found plenty of endometriosis everywhere. they burnt out what they could or what was there. i am still having pains. my vJJ is numb during intercourse and it hurts. I am going back tomorrow.Everyone I have talked to says it comes back and you end up getting a full hysterectomy.
