omg!!!!! if i hadn't of googled this i would have worried myself to death. I started experiencing this about 2 or 3 years ago after i had started taking some antibiotics. I went to the hospital and they tried to call it herpes. I was so upset i went to get a second opinion and got tested. it was not herpes. But it never fells about a week before my cycle comes this happens on my vagina and around my anal area and its very uncomfortable. I have set an appointment to get examed and i hope they have a medicine that will clear this up for me.

Yes!!! I also experience the yeast infection type symptoms before my period begins but I never seem to have a yeast infection. I don't know why this happens.

Hi Sugar. I am 43yrs old and sometimes get those bumps during my periods and it dissappears on it's own without any treatment. About 5years ago the pain was unberable and had to consult my gynae to check on me. She had to cut and clean it under local anaesthetic. She said there was nothing to worry about as we react differently during menses. So from my experience, it is not an STI but if it worries you much, then see an expert to assess and diagnose correctly

I read up on it and it's most referred to as a pimple on that area, not a boil. I get them and I read that it could be from not staying dry down there. Also when you sweat there's bacteria. It said that when there's bacteria in the hair follicles when you're not dry down there. I noticed when I got a bump it was hair in it and the hair was attached to the core which was under all the pus. I'm going to try finding some things to help keep me fresh and also wear cotton undies so the hair doesn't get irritated. In conclusion, stay dry and keep your hair clean. I wouldn't shave often either because the hair is what helps keep bacteria out and keeps you safe from infection.

Thank you for your response. The gluten free diet has changed my life too. I am totally free of every single health issue you mentioned and more since I stopped consuming gluten. Glad someone else has had the same experience.
