somedays, i will experience sudden stabbing pain that is very sharp and stingy kinda feel, it usual sends me to the ground or makes me crouch forward if im sitting. feels to be where my lungs are. i think i was diagnosed as an astmetic when i was young, used to have a puffer, but since we(me/dad) moved away from mum, never realy did anything to do with it, as it was never a problem. it was a case of let your body deal with it, and it seemed to pay off, mum wanted me to have glasses too, but ive never had any and my eyesight is for what i know- perfect. i dont drink/smoke any substances, and dont hang round smokers, whats going on??! ps, not cramps, i know what cramps feel like, and they usualy dont effect both sides of your chest(why i suspect lungs), so theyre not cramps.

Dude,

Where exactly are these pains? Upper or lower chest? Can you pinpoint a location? Do you feel short of breath or have trouble breathing when these happen? What are you usually doing when these occur? Do they happen when you exercise?

Asthma can cause severe chest pain.

I would recommend that you talk to your doctor about this. It very well could be asthma and a puffer may be indicated.

Please keep us posted.

Hmm.

There is a condition called pleurisy. Basically, your lungs are in a bag with mucous keeping things lubricated and not sticking. In some case, they stick and it can be very painful. It could be related to the asthma as well.

You'd be best off to see your doctor. This requires at a minimum a listen of your breath sounds.

Hope it helps.

It's hard to say without a complete exam whether or not it is your eating habits.

First thing, where is the source? Is it your lungs? It could also be GI related. Does it seem to happen more when you scoff food?

If it is pleurisy, the cause needs to be identified. Your history of asthma and use of a puffer show that you most likely have an airway issue of some kind.

At some point you need to see your doctor to get this resolved. That should be sooner rather than later. Talk to your school nurse if you don't think you can take this directly to your father.

Hope it helps.
