Well, if you’ve only been with one guy and you’ve both been faithful, I can think of only two conditions: yeast infection and contact dermatitis.
Contact dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin caused by direct contact with an irritating substance. There are two types of contact dermatitis. One of them is irritant dermatitis which occurs when you come into a contact with alkaline materials such as soaps and detergents, solvents, or other chemicals and ther eaction looks like a burn. Another form is caused by contracting a material that you may be allergic to. Reactions in this case include redness and mild irritation, which resembles your condition more.
Some of the most common irritants could be rubber (condoms), certain cosmetics, fabrics, detergents, washing chemicals, perfumes, fragrances, etc and some medications especially if they have been applied to the skin.
These kinds of reaction are usually left alone to go away on their own or you may wash them with plain water to remove the irritant from the skin or you may get some sort of prescription.
Yeast infection may occur due to the same irritants. Yeast infection is sometimes linked to sexual activities but it has nothing to do with sex. Yeast infection represents and overgrowth of yeast that normally lives in the vaginal area. This happens when vaginal flora is disturb due to different irritants like fabrics, non-cotton panties, dye used for panties, spermicide from condoms, prolonged antibiotic treatment, excessive washing, using different deodorants, etc
If there is no specific smell and maybe discharge, it is most likely dermatitis but I would have it checked at the dermatologist rather than gynecologist.
