I am a light complected caucasion and I used dy-o-derm since the early 1980s. It worked perfect for me. I started using Chromelin once I found out dy-o-derm was discontinued. I have had no success at all with Chromelin. It is twice as expensive and does not work. Do not waste your money.

Does anyone know why dy-o-derm was discontinued?

All - I have had vitiligo since high school. I have used dyoderm, chromelin, makeup, etc... I am now using MicroSkin and could not be happier. It is a little on the pricey side, but does an amazing job. You can't tell.

I recently ordered vitiligo cover lotion, and it didn't work for me. Very Disappointed. I wish someone would have posted at least one negative review. It sounded sooo good! I am currently using dermablend. It matches ok with my skin tone,but still have to worry about it wiping off.

I've had vitiligo since 1984, I am 42, black & white, fair without a tan. I have this stuff I only use occasionally because it is too dark for my complexion straight out of the bottle. I have to mix it with my foundation to get the right tone for my skin. But I wish I could just use it directly because it's so easy. And it takes soap and water to remove it. It is a serious stain. It is called "body tan" by Make Up Forever. It is a gel and it is intense color. I have the dark shade. It's like $70, but it could seriously be your miracle. Good luck.

I freaking didn't know what to do when they discontinued it. It was better than Vita Dye which was expensive and orange-y. So annoying. I use a spray tan, but it's kinda green. Good grief.

I totally understand Sharon. And sweating is The. Worst. So bummed about Dy-O-Derm. Self tanners just don't do it as well as Dy-O-Derm did. We should start a petition!! Good Luck to u. I'm 42, & have had it since I was 11.

Now that's what I'm talking about!! This sounds like the most logical solution ever! Everyone's will be a little different. We have to take matters into our own hands, why not just make it from scratch, super custom style. Love this idea. Thanks. I don't even know how I found this website!!

Hi, I read that the alcohol in this stain can be very drying on your skin. can you tell me if that's your experience? I already have dry skin so I'd have to put a heavy moisturizer on top of the stain. Does that make it rub off? Thank you so much!
