Hello, a year ago I had a tooth extracted and because of financial isues could do nothing about it.
One year on I've funds to get an implant. Today I visited a dentist and was told that my teeth have closed in the gap and instead of at least 7mm he needs for the implant there's only 4mm left.
I was told I'll have to get a bridge and I'm very upset about it as the tooth that will have to support the bridge is perfectly healthy and now a crown will have to be put on it.
Is there really no other way?
Thanks

Hi,

My opinion is to get another opinion. It is likely that gap has closed some.

Hope it helps.
