Want to conceive a baby

Im not a doctor but I will tell you what I know.I was told by my OBGYN that women usually ovulate on the 14th day from the first day of their period.I listened to her and it worked for me and my boyfriend.I am currently 2 months pregnant right now.My last period started on July 4th.Which means I started ovulating on the 18th.Me and my boyfriend had sex on the 17th,18th and the 19th.On Aug 1st I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative.Then on Aug 4th I should have started my period and didnt.I waited till Aug 6th and still hadnt started.I then took another pregnancy test and it was positive.So if your trying to have a baby.I suggest you wait till you have a period.Keep track of the dates!!!!!!!After your period is over,count 14 days starting from the first day of your period.Start haveing sex the day before,the day of and the day after.Then you need to wait till the next month when you should start and if you dont start take a pregnancy test.If it reads negative wait a week.If you still havent started your period than take another pregnancy test.If you are pregnant,the pregnancy test should be able to detect it by now.I hope what I have told you helps you.GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
