What are the best supplements to treat hemorrhoids?

Hi Alec, my name is Eric. I don't know much about hemorrhoid remedies, but I've had them for a couple of years now and I can assure you that surgery table is my last resort. They have been appearing a couple of times a year since 2010, but only the first time did I actually end up in pain. Other times were painless. There aren't many remedies, I think, but what actually helped for me was just oil. I rubbed oil after every shower, and it softened the hemorrhoid hence shrinking it and returning it back into it's place. Also, diet is important.
