hi, im 16 y/o and am a female. So i know this sounds a lil weird to be sticking my fingers in my vagina and i tried once when i was like 13 or 14, around when i got my period, to like explore and what not. so theres this like idk, giant, firm bump, maybe a bit more than a centimeter in diameter and a a bit more than a centimeter tall (idk if thats the right word but whatever) its not like rounded, i mean its like a cylinder of something it pushing against the skin of my vagina. it doesn't hurt or anything. so its like far up on the side, but this like right near the top, and i cant go any further than that, like the vagina stops after that bit. I do get a period and stuff so i know somewhere in there is a tube, but like i've legit stuck a tooth brush (brand new obvi, dont want teeth germs) and its dont go further. i've literally sat in the shower pushing trying to go someplace, but it wont go anywhere. so my question is, why does my vagina seem to stop there (but blood comes outta someplace every month)? and what possibly is the large bump?

Totally normal to explore your own body!. I cant really picture what you mean by bump. You said it doesnt hurt? Well you can always see a gyno doctor and ask since your old enough for yearly check ups. But you cant go any further in your vagina because vaginas are only 4-5 inches deep and then you hit your cervix wall which seperates your vagina from your uterus. I wouldnt force it further if it cant go. We actually have two holes. Our vagina and our urethra which is located right under the clitoris. We do only bleed from our vaginal hole, as the blood is simply our uterus lining shedding after an egg passes and is not fertilized. Which means a week or two before a period(depending on the woman) is when we ovulate aka our bodies prepping for pregnancy.
